Hello everyone, today I will tell you about Professor Hugo Romero whom I personally admire for his contribution to the discipline. Hugo Romero Aravena holds a PhD in Geography and Spatial Planning from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, and a Master degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Cranfield, UK.   He is Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Chile, and serves as Director of the Territory and Environment Laboratory. His research area is linked to environmental issues associated with conflicts of social exclusion and segregation, sustainability, socio-environmental justice, quality of life and the impact of urban and rural development. He won the National Geography Award in 2013 and in addition this last year he obtained the Milton Santos Award which is given to the greatest continental exponents of this discipline. Particularly he won this award for the trajectory he has had both nationally and internationally, addressing problems at the Latin American level.

Hello everyone, today I'll tell you about the country I'd like to know. Since I was a child I have been fascinated by Africa, that simple, I liked its natural landscapes, its people, its culture and the different types of dance and food. Specifically, I would like to travel to South Africa to the Cape of Good Hope. It's a really beautiful place, it has hundreds of years of history and amazing beaches. Since I was 6 years old I wanted to travel to South Africa, at the beginning I asked for a trip to Africa for every birthday and Christmas, but obviously I never arrive :( hahaha. Now that I'm at university, I intend that in 4 years or maybe 3 years I will be able to do an exchange in some South African university, or maybe (it all depends on my grades (and money)), just to travel for a month or two on holiday.
